IP.TV started broadcasting among São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Manaos, Salvador and eleven cities in Maranhão. The launching counted on the presence of the President of ANATEL, Luiz Guilherme Schymura, who supported the initiative. VAT will be responsible for developing the platform, integrate diverse technologies. Besides, it closed a deal with PanAmSat, to provide transponders in the Ku-band, and with Telespazio, to be in charge of logistics and network deployment.
